 At the Instructional Coaching Group our focus is on doing what it take
 s to improve the quality of kids’ lives by having them experience better
  teaching. Coaching is a way in which we can provide support to teachers t
 o dramatically improve teaching. But\, what are the practices those teache
 rs work on? That's where High Impact Instruction comes in\, and these are 
 the strategies that have the best chance of improving teaching. The instru
 ctional strategies mentioned in this course increase engagement and learni
 ng. The result of Jim Knight's research exploration and development was a 
 simple framework – the Big Four\, addressing Content Planning\, Formativ
 e Assessment\, Instruction\, and Community Building.  In this inaugural c
 ourse\, Jim Knight introduces the foundational principles\, skills\, and f
 ramework necessary for the first 90 days of instructional coaching\, inclu
