 The IDEALS Foundation ha
 s been working with young people since 1993 and was asked by the Georgia D
 epartment of Education to produce life skill content for both CTAE and hig
 h school students prior to the pandemic.
 In addition to those programs\,
  IDEALS has focused its work on providing resources to help freshmen stude
 nts navigate the transition from middle school to high school more success
 fully. They have developed two short video programs designed for adviseme
 nt period application that use high school students as speakers.
 The fir
 st program focuses on the importance of decision making. These students ar
 e now going to start facing situations in high school that are going to re
 quire good decision-making skills in order to optimize their high school e
 xperience. This interactive video walks them through a simple but effectiv
 e way to do just that.
 The second video was produced after interviewing 
 94 high school seniors asking them – now that you are seniors\, what wou
 ld you have liked to have known about high school as a freshmen that would
  have made your high school experience more enjoyable\, less stressful\, a
 nd more successful? Three high school seniors narrate this short video sha
 ring the results from those interviews.
