 The "Best of the Rest" is a document that gives an overview of an entire year’s set of math standards from the twin perspectives of Milestones-aligned assessment questions and the prerequisite skills students need to get a better understanding of those standards.  This document works in conjunction with the year's Spotlight Guide, a more detailed document that highlights a subset of that grade’s most important standards critical for student mastery..
