 With the release o
 f the revised Algebra I standards for the upcoming 2023-24 school year\, s
 tudents will be tasked with having to meet no less than 46 “Expectations
 ” in preparation for the spring Milestones assessment- making it imperat
 ive\, therefore\, that Algebra I teachers use every pedagogical tool at th
 eir disposal to help each of their students master those related skills. 
  What the state is explicitly encouraging in the new standards is the fre
 e use of Desmos graphing technology which will not only engage more stud
 ents (particularly those with a visual or hands-on learning preference) bu
 t also save the class time by vertically aligning a sizable portion of Alg
 ebra I topics.  
  
 What follows in the folder “Algebra I with Des
 mos\" is a collection of Milestones-aligned examples specific to Algebra I
  whose solutions are illustrated graphically and confirmed mathematically 
 and that are organized in order of the revised Algebra I standards themsel
 ves.
