 Aguilar\, who has worked with the Georgia Department of Education's scienc
 e programs for many years and is now the Director of the Innovative Progra
 ms and Research division for the Office of Teaching and Learning\, will fa
 cilitate a HGRESA-wide collaborative for elementary school science teacher
 s to come together for professional learning and cooperation.  This is de
 signed especially for those singleton teachers in small districts.  This 
 will provide teachers who have no one to share ideas and issues with an op
 portunity to reach out to their peers and also gain assistance from the st
 ate level. This meeting will be held monthly except for December.
