 Upon a system's request\, Dr. Juan-Carlos Ag
 uilar\, who has worked with the Georgia Department of Education's science 
 programs for many years and is now the Director of the Innovative Programs
  and Research division for the Office of Teaching and Learning\, will faci
 litate a HGRESA-wide collaborative for elementary school science teachers 
 to come together for professional learning and cooperation.  This is desi
 gned especially for those singleton teachers in small districts.  This wi
 ll provide teachers who have no one to share ideas and issues with an oppo
 rtunity to reach out to their peers and also gain assistance from the stat
 e level. This meeting will be held monthly except for December.
