3168.Resource, WIDA, Administrators' Supplement for the ELD Standards Framework Implementation for Multilingual Learners Guide(2023)

The following was copied and pasted directly from a GDOE Federal Programs Update Newsletter: "WIDA recently launched two new implementation guides to support educators and administrators as they scale-up implementation of the WIDA ELD Standards Framework in 2023-2024. The WIDA ELD Standards Framework Implementation Guide is designed specifically for classroom teachers and instructional leaders, as well as other professionals who work with multilingual learners. It includes guidance about planning for language development in units and lessons, sample resources, and ideas for what implementation of the Framework could look like in practice. This guide is accompanied by an Administrator Supplement that focuses on programmatic aspects of systemic ELD standards implementation for school and district administrators. To support scaling-up standards implementation, the state provides all teachers with content-to-language standards associations in GDOE SuitCase and GDOE Inspire, which can also be accessed through GDOE Connects."  The link to the Administrator Supplement guide will be sent to you upon registration for this resource.
