This is copied directly from an email from the GALA - Rollins Center:  "Yvette Manns is a Science of Reading enthusiast, language and literacy specialist, dyslexia practitioner and author living in Atlanta, Georgia. Over the past decade and a half, she has dedicated her work to improving literacy outcomes for students. Yvette has led professional development for districts, schools, and government agencies to create equitable access for underserved and underrepresented groups in literacy. Her books are in over 6,000 classrooms and libraries in the United States, Canada, and Australia and her training videos have over 1.8 million views on YouTube. Yvette has received House Resolutions and Proclamations from the City of Atlanta in honor of her impact to the literacy landscape and has also been featured in multiple media outlets for her ingenuity in education. When she is not training, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling and riding her Peloton bike until her legs feel like noodles."
