This session focuses on dyslexia, a type of learning disability that affects reading and language processing. Learners will understand the definition and tenets of dyslexia, identify language processing characteristics, understand laws related to standards and dyslexia, and apply research-based instructional methods for those who are working with students who have dyslexia so that they can provide adequate and appropriate instruction.
