6496.2, DOE, 2025-2026 LKES Initial Credentialing

Leader Keys Initial Credentialing (LKES) is the required professional learning for new school and district leaders who will use LKES to support and evaluate Georgia school leaders. This one day, 4.5-hour virtual training will provide leaders with content and skills for implementing LKES with fidelity. To become fully credentialed in LKES, participants must complete and pass the LKES Credentialing Assessment within five days of the virtual training. Upon passing the assessment, leaders may begin supporting and evaluating school leaders with LKES.
Important: To access the credentialing assessment, leaders will need access to the platform using the district’s Student Information System (SIS).
