1635.Resource, GDOE/GPB, Positive Classroom Climate Plans

This was copied and pasted directly from the GDOE Newsletter:  " HOW TO RESPOND EFFECTIVELY TO PROBLEM BEHAVIOR GaDOE’s School Climate team in collaboration with Georgia Public Broadcasting has published a series of K-12 Digital Learning Plans to assist classroom teachers with building a positive climate. The lessons are packaged as "The First 12 Days of School" but can be implemented at any time during the school year. The goal of the lessons is to give students and teachers a firm foundation to begin the school year. The lessons are divided into four grade bands: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Lesson topics include Attention Signals, Box Breathing, I Wish My Teacher Knew, and Dialogue Circles. Each lesson includes an "Engaging Families" section to assist with parent engagement."
