Yvette has led professional development for districts, schools, and government agencies to create equitable access for underserved and underrepresented groups in literacy. Her books are in over 6,000 classrooms and libraries in the United States, Canada, and Australia and her training videos have over 1.8 million views on YouTube. Yvette has received House Resolutions and Proclamations from the City of Atlanta in honor of her impact to the literacy landscape and has also been featured in multiple media outlets for her ingenuity in education.
