 In this inaugural episode of NRM Sketch Club, Patrick O'Donnell teaches the fundamentals of drawing from initial sketches to blocking in values to more refined detail work and finishing touches. This episode, Pat draws a puppy dog inspired from Norman Rockwell's 1954 illustration "The Veterinarian". This drawing class targets anyone who would like to learn how to draw. Future episodes will teach new skills and revisit previously covered topic to reinforce learning. This episode covers a comprehensive exercise from beginning to end and covers many aspects of drawing, but future episodes will be shorter and focus more on exercises for one specific art technique.
