June 22 Report

This report contains the observations and recommendations of some of Georgia’s top teachers, who
brought their heart for the classroom and their dedication to students to every conversation reflected
here. I want to thank each member of the task force – especially Cherie Bonder Goldman, our 2022
Georgia Teacher of the Year, who led this work and has been an incredible representative of Georgia’s
public schools.
I encourage policymakers, district and school leaders, community members, and parents to review
these recommendations and consider how they can be enacted within their schools and communities.
