This is copied and pasted directly from a note from Richard Woods:  "In Georgia, Senate Bill 48 was written in response to the concerns of parents, medical professionals, and educators who want to ensure schools more systematically support students with dyslexia. Educators can take individual action, but they will need system-wide supports in place as well. This Handbook describes what dyslexia is and what it looks and sounds like when a child is experiencing difficulties in learning to read. It addresses how to screen for dyslexia and how to systematically improve reading skills instruction, while ensuring each and every child has access to individualized supports, if the system is not meeting their needs."
