984.Resource, McNamara, Roadmap to Revised Standards Grades 6, 7, & 8 for 2022-2023 Tested in FY24

What’s Included:
1) a table of contents, links to supplemental instructional materials, and an overview of
the revised standards (“What to Expect in 2022-23”)
2) a thumbnail sketch of the upcoming revisions (“Transition Standards”)
3) side-by-side curriculum maps for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school years
4) a detailed breakdown of those current standards, including assessment examples
highlighting the changes in each case
5) (for 8th-grade only) new standards arranged into 3 groups, paired with a related
existing current standard, and then connected to aligned assessment questions

Purposes:

1) to help ease the revision transition
! ! 2) to highlight the connections that already exist between GLS standards
! ! 3) to pinpoint what current standards will be requiring updating
! ! 4) to focus on the additions to (and deletions from) existing curricula
! ! 5) to provide organized, open-source example questions at higher levels
! ! ! of thinking (DOK 2 and DOK 3) for immediate classroom application
