Heather Finley, Teacher Retention and Recruitment Specialist for the Office of Rural Education and Innovation, will present the Georgia Registered Teaching Apprenticeship Program (GARTAP), a new program that will assist districts in strengthening their teaching pipeline through K-12 Registered Teaching Apprenticeships. They will learn about a unique "Grow Your Own" opportunity and how to access funding. The meeting will additionally provide an opportunity for district representatives to directly collaborate with Higher Education representatives and develop a plan of action to implement GARTAP.
