Participants will be provided with foundational knowledge about how adversity and trauma can impact brain development. The training also introduces brain architecture and early brain development in children and focuses on the impact of adverse experiences and child trauma on the brain. The training introduces participants to various strategies for promoting brain health using “brain break” activities. Participants will be better prepared to recognize the effects of adversity and trauma on the developing brain and take actions to support children’s well-being and recovery.
