Connecting Digital Literacy to Sound Pedagogy

This PowerPoint is about making learning, and specifically, reading, an active process increases comprehension and recall. It looks at providing opportunities for students to think, respond to questions and the information itself, to mark (annotate) or make notes, and to interact with classmates through discussion. Discussion can take place with a talk partner, in a small group, and/or with the whole group.

The contents of the presentation include background on the genre, how the genre is assessed, and the assessment strategies for moving up the score scale.
